Welcome to Christmasnow
This website is a collection of items devoted to one of my favourite times of the year. I'll try to keep it interesting. December 25th and January 7 (for the Eastern rites) are special days, even if they are not the actual birthdates of the historical Jesus. While Christmas is not the most important day for practicing Christians (that's reserved for Easter) it is for many the continuation of old pre Christian festivals celebrating the winter solstice.
Remembering family and friends, and generally relaxing and enjoying our lives, are goals of the season for many. The strains and commotion that commercialized Christmas brings can lead us away from the true Christmas spirit. I hope this site helps you in your quest for peace and goodwill.
